About Bobby Tenile

When I was growing up, my parents fulfilled their traditional gender roles very well. My mother took the time to take care of herself, loved fashion, and always tried to look pristine. My dad, on the other hand, mostly focused on making enough money to keep up with my mother’s shopping habits. I learned how to work hard for everything that I had from my dad, but I learned how to look good doing it from my mom.

She helped me to understand the history of fashion, and what I needed to do in order to look sharp in the business world. Over the years, I went shopping with her thousands of times, and we had a lot of fun together.

Although I didn’t appreciate the effort that she put into helping me look my best, it really made a difference for me after I graduated from college. I found that while I had no problem whipping together a nice looking ensemble for an upcoming job interview, some of my peers struggled immensely.

I wanted to create this website so that I could help other people to understand the power of wearing the right thing. When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel great, you tend to perform better during the day.
